Public Cyber Security

  • The ICC Birmingham Broad Street Birmingham B1 2EA (map)

PUBLIC CYBER SECURITY is the only free, one-day event to focus exclusively on providing actionable insight for cyber security and information governance professionals across health and other parts of the public sector.

Taking place on 7th December at The ICC, Birmingham, the event provides a mix of collaborative and secure meeting environments to share best practice, learning and innovative ideas to protect the delivery of citizen-facing services against the backdrop of a fast moving technical, legal, and policy context. It will address the challenges of how to maintain data security and governance with increased information sharing across organisational boundaries and the introduction of GDPR.

Event highlights include an emerging threats workshop, a live hacking demonstration, a CLOSED session on real world attacks, and a GDPR essentials workshop. You will hear real-life examples of how your colleagues are managing current information governance challenges and have an opportunity to learn about best practice strategies in people and technology management that you can take back to your organisation.

Register for Public Cyber Security to discover, discuss and develop ideas with your colleagues across public sector that will help you practically manage the often-conflicting challenges of information governance in the public sector.
