UKCGC Launches New Podcast Series

We are pleased to launch a new podcast series designed to support and inform Caldicott Guardians and those working in information governance across health and social care.

In the first episode, Dr George Fernie, Chair of the UKCGC, and Helen Dyer, Vice-Chair, introduce the role of the Council and discuss the 8 Caldicott Principles, exploring their purpose, evolution and continued importance in supporting the lawful, ethical and appropriate use of confidential information.

The podcast series will provide practical insights, expert perspectives and discussion on key topics relevant to Caldicott Guardians, helping to promote good practice and support the safe and effective use of information for individual care and wider public benefit.
